The Mosasaurus is a sea reptile that lived in and ruled the seas; the species occurred worldwide and could grow up to 20 meters long. Mosasaurs died out when 66 million years ago a gigantic meteor struck the Earth.
It was a very active predator with good eyesight. The skull and jaws were sturdy in construction, suitable for devouring almost any other animal or reptile.
The Otodus Obliquus lived from the Paleocene to the Eocene (about 60–45 million years ago) and is regarded as one of the earliest ancestors of the legendary Megalodon. With an estimated body length of 9 to 12 meters, this shark ranked among the largest predators of its time.
