Splendid vintage Italian-made double bedspread dating from the second half of the 20th century. The fabric features a refined Jacquard weave executed in damask/brocade style, characterized by vertical bands and garlanded floral motifs on a glossy cardinal red ground. The piece lacks woven labels (typical of artisanal bed linens or high-quality fabrics finished by hand of the era), but its style and luster clearly recall the prestigious textile tradition of San Leucio or the Lombard master weavers.
