A 20th‑century Italian mid‑century modern dining table with a central solid mahogany pedestal and a thick, clear etched glass top showing wine vines, leaves and grape clusters, measuring 139.5 cm in diameter and 74 cm high, originating from Italy near Florence or Lombardy.
Description from the seller
This magnificent Italian table is the perfect combination of craftsmanship and workmanship; because of its unique manufacture, this type of table is offered in the higher vintage and design segment as an artistic piece of furniture for the dining room or hall.
The central solid mahogany leg is very skillfully hand-carved and strongly inspired by the classical Italian Baroque style, with rich scrolls, volutes and acanthus leaves. No damage.
The thick transparent glass top is etched with wine vines, leaves, and grape clusters.
The top is finely ground, with one very small chip.
Overall sturdy and in good condition, ready to use.
Italy, ca. 1930-1940
Dimensions:
H = 74 cm
D = 139.5 cm
Recently thoroughly checked for loose parts of construction and veneer. No active woodworm found as of 27/08/2026
