Vintage Space Age table lamp – opal glass and chrome – in the style of Targetti Sankey – 1970s
Special vintage table lamp from the 1970s, executed in a pronounced Space Age design and clearly in the style of the iconic Targetti Sankey table lamps.
The lamp combines a tall cylindrical foot of chrome-plated metal with a large spherical shade of white opal glass. Around the connection is a decorative, open-work chrome ring that gives the lamp its characteristic futuristic look.
When the lamp is on, the glass sphere spreads a pleasant, soft and atmospheric light. A striking decorative object that fits perfectly in a Space Age, mid-century modern, Hollywood Regency, or eclectic interior.
