Antique writing desk in Cuban flower mahogany, circa 1770–1795, in Louis XVI style, with a two-part cabinet and upper glass doors, inlaid S-shaped lid, adjustable shelves, and a lower section with three large drawers in bronze hardware.

Very fine Cuban mahogany writing cabinet with an S-flap inlaid with olive green leather.
Upper cabinet with two (antique) glass doors, mirrored flower veneer and carving on the pediment.
Three height-adjustable shelves.

Doors close well with the original lock and working key.
