Gorgeous Roman terra sigillata bowl of a wide body on a pedestal foot. The exterior is decorated with nicely incised double grooves and animals just below the rim. 'Terra sigillata' is a type of fine ware Roman pottery identifiable by its red glossy surface slip, which was made in specific areas of the Roman Empire, such as North Africa, Gaul, and Central Italy.
