The 5 Leva 1884 is a historic and rare silver coin from the Principality of Bulgaria, minted under the reign of Prince Alexander I. This coin was produced according to the specifications of the Latin Monetary Union and was minted in Saint Petersburg.

Obverse (Avers): The coat of arms of the Principality of Bulgaria with a crowned lion, surrounded by the inscription "БЪЛГАРИЯ" (Bulgaria) and "СЪЕДИНЕНИЕТО ПРАВИ СИЛАТА" (Unity makes strength).

Reverse (Revers): The nominal value "5 ЛЕВА" (5 leva) and the year 1884, surrounded by a wreath of oak leaves and ears of corn.
