The Yamaha TX-492RDS is a refined stereo radio tuner designed for Yamaha’s classic Natural Sound hi-fi systems. With its clean, understated styling and high-quality analogue tuner section, it is an excellent addition to a vintage or classic stereo setup.
The tuner uses a digital PLL synthesizer for accurate station tuning and offers 40 random-access station presets, including automatic preset tuning and preset editing. The TX-492RDS also features an advanced RDS (Radio Data System) section, allowing compatible FM stations to transmit information such as station name, programme type, radio text and clock time. PTY and EON functions provide additional RDS-based station and programme searching
To deliver this product properly, it is carefully packed in very strong boxes, thereby wrapped in bubble wrap with lots of padding.
