Elegant wall mirror of fine cabinetmaking, made in 1948 following the aesthetic standards of the Rococo Renaissance / Louis XV style. The piece stands out for its trapezoidal silhouette and its impressive carving work. It retains an original label on the inside that documents its year of manufacture (1948) exactly, which gives it high historical and collectible value within mid-20th-century Spanish artisanal production.
Very good considering its age and use. The wooden frame and the carvings are perfectly firm, solid and free of xylophages (carpentry beetle). The gilding retains a magnificent shine with minor wear and a very homogeneous patina of the period. The glass shows aging marks (foxing) that enhance its vintage and genuine character. Ready to hang and decorate.
