Description from the seller

NEVER USED.
Splendid and refined vintage cutlery service for 6 people, produced by the famous Italian company Gottinghen, dating roughly to the 1960s-70s.
The set is made from noble 18/8 stainless steel (with factory marks “niKra” and “Rostfrei” engraved on the blades) and is adorned with a rich, detailed baroque relief work on the handles, entirely gilded in pure gold.
The lot is fully intact, complete in every part (25 pieces in total) and presents in excellent conservative condition, with the gilding bright and free from patinas or wash wear.
The rare original paper warranty certificate from the period is included.
The service is housed inside its original luxury case, with teak and bamboo exterior finishes and velvet-lined interior in peach color.

Lot composition (25 pieces):
- 6 table knives
- 6 table spoons
- 6 table forks
- 6 dessert/coffee spoons
- 1 large serving ladle

This cutlery lot was created in Italy, specifically in Gottolengo, a municipality in the province of Brescia (Lombardy).
Although the name “Gottinghen” evokes a German city (Göttingen), it is actually one of the most famous historic brands of Italian design and metallurgical manufacturing of the second half of the 20th century.
The historic Gottinghen S.p.A. factory (historically located in Gottolengo) managed the entire production process—from stainless steel 18/8 stamping to the precious gilding operation in yellow gold and packaging in the characteristic wooden chests.

Tracked shipping and careful packaging guaranteed.
