Baccarat - Champagne glass (6) - Gondolas - Crystal

These six magnificent coupe glasses correspond perfectly to the historical model “Service Uni, Gondola shape, buttoned foot (or double baluster)”, which is illustrated in Baccarat's official catalogs at the end of the 19th century and the beginning of the 20th century. The model was created in 1889.

No mark beneath the foot attests to belonging to the famous house. Indeed, the house did not begin to mark the undersides of the glasses until the 1930s—1936. Before this date, only a paper label was affixed to the foot or on the side of the rim. However, very slight differences between specimens indicating their antiquity, and the fineness of the crystal, are associated with the catalogs to convince of authenticity.
