The side table is designed from one simple idea: no one has to stand alone.
The four individual legs together carry a single round top. Each leg has its own place, shape and wood grain, but only when the pieces come together does a sturdy and usable whole emerge. Draagkracht is designed by Studio à la Part and, with professional guidance, hand crafted by makers who are building their place within society and on the labor market. The net proceeds from this auction will be used for new material. Thus, every sold stool literally provides carrying power to a future project and gives a new maker the opportunity to gain experience, confidence and craftsmanship.

This has grown into more than just custom work. Nowadays, we also focus on interior design and collaborations with other companies. Creating our own collection of furniture that is timeless, modern, and sustainable for us.
We will always remain modest, and mass production will not be available. What is important is that the products from Studio à la part last for years; therefore, we use the best materials we can obtain.
When you order a product, the materials are ordered after the order is placed, saving us storage space and preventing unnecessary waste. The only disadvantage is that you have to wait a bit longer for the furniture.
