ICHTHYOVENATOR LAOSENSIS – FOSSIL TEETH
For sale: an authentic fossil tooth of Ichthyovenator laosensis, an exceptionally notable spinosaurid theropod dinosaur from the Early Cretaceous of Laos.
Ichthyovenator literally means “fish hunter” and refers to the presumably piscivorous lifestyle of this impressive spinosaurid. The species Ichthyovenator laosensis was described in 2012 and comes from the Grès Supérieurs Formation in Savannakhet Province, Laos. Fossils of the species include, besides bone material, also teeth.
