Sony CDP-X33ES high-end CD player in black, originating from Sony’s audiophile ES (Elevated Standard) series (circa 1990–1991). Technically in 100% good working order (reads original CDs and CD-Rs quickly and faultlessly) and visually in neat condition with light signs of use consistent with age.
The player is built on a vibration-free aluminum frame and equipped with Sony’s renowned Linear Motor drive with the reliable KSS-271A laser unit, which ensures a whisper-quiet tray and lightning-fast spool times. Sonically, the CDP-X33ES delivers, thanks to the advanced High Density Linear Converter (HDLC) D/A system, an extremely open, detailed and dynamic sound image with impressive depth and timing. Equipped with both fixed and variable analog outputs and an optical digital output.
