Description from the seller
Schott Zwiesel – Prestige Collection – Set of 12 crystal aperitief glasses – Germany – ca. 1983–1993
A refined and elegant set of 12 lead crystal wine glasses from the renowned Prestige Collection by Schott Zwiesel, Germany. Designed with timeless sophistication, the Prestige pattern is distinguished by its beautifully bowls, elegant stepped-ball stems, and heavy, polished feet, creating exceptional brilliance and light reflection.
The lot consists of two complementary sizes from the same collection, making it ideal for serving different wines:
6 cognac or apero glasses – approximately 13cm high, 6 cm rim diameter
6 apero glasses – approximately 16.5 cm high, 6,5cm rim diameter
Total weight: approximately 2 kg.
Produced during the 1980s–1990s, the Prestige collection reflects the high-quality craftsmanship for which Schott Zwiesel is internationally renowned. The combination of sharp faceting, balanced proportions and brilliant crystal makes these glasses suitable for both elegant dining and display in a refined tableware collection.
The glasses are in very good vintage condition, with only minimal signs of careful use consistent with age. No significant chips or cracks were observed. Please examine the photographs carefully, as they form an integral part of the description and condition report.
A beautiful and substantial crystal service that will enhance any sophisticated table setting and is equally suitable for collectors of fine German crystal.
