Lampada da scrivania regolabile Space Age - Lamp - Metal

Vintage 1970s table/desk lamp, featuring an original adjustment system and a strong Space Age aesthetics, highlighted by the contrast between the intense red of the painted parts and the chromed metal.

The structure has a circular base in red-painted metal, a double vertical chromed stem, and a long movable arm, also in chromed metal.

Particularly interesting is the large central joint with a tightening knob, which allows a significant modification of height, tilt, and arm reach. The lamp can therefore assume numerous configurations, from a more compact position to a vertical extension of about 88 cm, as shown in the photographs.

The red-painted metal diffuser, with its characteristic rounded and enveloping shape, is orientable and features a series of small ventilation holes at the back. The light interior is light-colored to promote diffusion.

Completing the design is the characteristic ivory-colored toggle switch, positioned directly on the body of the lamp holder.

An interesting example of 1970s Space Age lighting, characterized by an especially articulated and functional construction. The pairing of red surfaces, chrome elements, and black components fully conveys the era’s design aesthetics.

Conditions:
Good vintage condition overall, with normal signs of age and use. There are small surface marks and spots of wear on the paint and on the chrome parts, consistent with the object’s age and visible in the photos.
