Description from the seller
In this auction, an antique wooden frame richly decorated with gold leaf finishes.
The frame is in excellent preservation and retains an extraordinary gilding.
It is observed that the wooden frame shows signs of antiquity and craquelures.
The surface is in excellent condition, as are the ancient traces of restoration.
There are very tiny losses of stucco, but they characterize its preciousness.
The hook is absolutely wrought iron, contemporary and original, as is the ring.
It is simply a precious object of remarkable importance and visual appeal.
The frame ready to host a significant oil on canvas or anyway an antique painting, such as a portrait, animalier, or antique.
Congratulations to the winner of this auction.
