Pair of Kenwood KL-4080 speakers, vintage 1970-71 – 3-way / 12” – Japan – Multi Channel
Pair of Kenwood KL-4080 speakers, made in Japan by Trio Electronics Inc. (Tokyo) in the early 1970s.
3-way / 4-drive system, walnut bass-reflex cabinet and the characteristic hexagonal metal grille. Highly regarded for its high sensitivity (101 dB) and for the ability to connect Multi Channel.

Condition: Functioning correctly. The wooden cabinets have been cleaned and treated with beeswax. The grilles are complete and show normal wear for the era.
The drivers are original and intact: no breaks, cracks or damaged surrounds. The paper cones retain their original beige color and show stains and signs of aging, especially on one woofer and one midrange. This is the usual appearance of these speakers after more than 50 years. Not a structural damage or repair.
An original pair, with its vintage character intact, ready to use or for a cosmetic upgrade later if desired.
