Leica III Series Outfit (Telegraphic Code: OAFXO / LYCAN) +summaron 3,5cm, Summitar 50mm + Elmar 9cm Rangefinder camera

Offered: A unique, historically accurate analogue camera kit from Ernst Leitz Wetzlar. This equipment was assembled around 1950 with great care and has always belonged together. An absolute dream set for the serious collector or the enthusiast of high-quality analogue photography.
The set consists of the following components (fully checked based on serial numbers):
• Camera body: Leica rangefinder (screw mount M39)
o Serial number: 447047 (Year of manufacture 1949).
o Details: Beautiful post-war model with the extra button for long exposure times on the front. The housing is in neat, authentic cosmetic condition.
• Lens 1: Leitz Summitar 50mm f/2 (Bright standard lens)
o Serial number: 794989 (Year 1950).
o Details: Retractable (collapsible) design with the then-new anti-reflective coating. Loved for its unique, dreamy 'swirly' bokeh and excellent sharpness.
• Lens 2: Leitz Elmar 50mm f/3.5 (Compact standard lens)
o Serial number: 843634 (Year 1951).
o Details: The absolute classic among Leica lenses. Extremely compact and easy to slide in, ideal to carry the camera in a jacket pocket. Equipped with coated glass and the modern international diaphragm scale.
• Lens 3: Leitz Elmar 9cm (90mm) f/4 (Tele-/portrait lens)
o Serial number: 758042 (Year 1950).
o Details: Beautiful slender chrome telephoto lens. The perfect vintage portrait lens with very smooth and soft background blur.
• System accessory: Leica Leitz VIOOH Universal Viewfinder
o Serial number: 19428 (Early version, ca. 1940-1941).
o Details: Indispensable for using the 9cm telephoto lens. Adjustable frame from 3.5cm to 13.5cm with built-in parallax correction. Mechanically fully functional. [1, 2]

• 2x Original E. Leitz Wetzlar screw filters (yellow and yellow-green contrast filter) in the original, marked transparent plastic storage boxes.

• 1x Vintage Autoknips mechanical self-timer in the original two-tone metal/plastic storage box.
• Large, original round leather gentleman’s-system bag with compartments for all lenses, the VIOOH finder and filters.

Condition of the set:
The entire kit is visually and cosmetically in a very neat, authentic state for its age (see photos). It has visibly always been handled with care. Since the camera has been in a collection for a long time, the set is sold in the condition as-is ('as is' / untested with film). The shutter speeds and the glass seem to be in good order at first glance, but a servicing (CLA) is advisable if you intend to shoot intensively.
