The work depicts a figure in hunter-guardian armor standing beside a small and enigmatic companion, both rendered with the playful volumes of a famous brick-based figure but carved in an imposing sculptural style. The composition shows the central figure emerging from the marble-like material, surrounded by a stratified and fragmented surface that recalls the surface of a rocky planet. The movement of the cloak and the composed stance convey a restrained gesture and a condition of eternal solitude, indissolubly fusing the subjects with the stony background.
The fine gold veins crossing the sculptural stone represent an explicit reference to the practice of Kintsugi, highlighting the value of fractures and reassembling the fragmented matter to celebrate the beauty of resilience and protection.
