Also the shepherd's cross sits on the handle. This is the symbol against which shepherds on their long treks across the countryside could pray for the meal, with the knife stuck into the bread. French shepherds also liked wine, and therefore versions with a corkscrew were made, of which this is one.

Equipped with a colored Padauk wood handle with brass bolsters. This knife has an elegant, robust and original design. The sharp, finely engraved stainless steel blade is very resistant to corrosion.

Laguiole
The well-known knife from France originally is a beautiful functional pocket knife. Laguiole is not a brand name, but a reference to a French village. It was designed based on a Spanish pocket knife called navaja and a local French small blade called capuchadou.
