Description from the seller

Art Deco-style Limoges porcelain table service, signed by the famous manufacturer and designer Henri Thabard (marked H.T.), active during the 1920s–1930s.
This prestige set combines the geometric rigor of Art Deco design (notably visible on the flat and angular gold-plated handles with the fine gold of the pieces) with the softness of a neoclassical décor consisting of garlands of pink roses, gold buds and forget-me-nots. The rim of the plates bears an elegant cream/ivory tint band, enhanced with fine gold fillets.

Composition and dimensions:

- 6 flat plates, diameter 23.6 cm
- 6 soup plates, diameter 23.2 cm and H 4 cm
- 6 plates, diameter 20 cm
- 1 oval dish, L 36.5 cm, W 21.5 cm and H 3 cm
- 1 slightly concave round dish, diameter 28.7 cm and H 5.2 cm
- 1 footed dish, diameter 23 cm and H 7.7 cm
- 2 ravières, L 23.4 cm, 1 11.2 cm and H 3 cm
- 1 vegetable dish, diameter about 22.5 cm, handle-to-handle length 27.7 cm and total height with lid 13 cm

Overall in very good condition for the set, only the round concave dish shows a few stains on the gold filet (see photos).

Weight of the set without packaging: 10.7 kg
