Richard Ginori - Coffee service (10) - Porcelain

Refined and rare coffee service for 4 people in fine white porcelain, produced by the famous Italian manufactory Richard Ginori in 1928, during the Art Deco period. The service features the elegant decoration "Ghirlanda di Rose" (Pattern C1425), characterized by a geometric glossy black band enriched by a dense and detailed motif of rosebuds and multicolored flowers. Each piece is embellished with gold-plated finishes and fine gilding on the rims and handles. The saucers and the sugar bowl lid have an exclusive central diamond-shaped decoration echoing the floral motif. On the bottom of each item are the authentic factory marks of the era (visible in the photos): The green underglaze stamp "GINORI" (with the L and G processing letters). The red circular overglaze stamp above "Decorazione eseguita da Richard Ginori". The numerical pattern code C 1425 and the paste-printed number 28, certifying the year of production (1928). The 10-piece set comprises: 4 coffee cups (diameter about 7 cm, height about 4.5 cm) 4 coordinated saucers (diameter about 12 cm) 1 sugar bowl with double handles and lid 1 milk jug. Conditions: Excellent vintage condition considering the era (almost 100 years of history). The porcelain is intact, free from chips, cracks, or restorations. A very slight and natural wear of the gold trim on the upper edge of some cups is noted, due to time and use, which does not compromise beauty but attests to authenticity.
