Description
A special complete set of four antique furniture legs, originating from the same richly appointed table dating from around 1880–1910.
The legs are made of solid wood and beautifully hand-turned, with additional hand-carved decorations. Especially the central bulb-shaped section with a fluted edge is highly decorative. The different profiles, rings and baluster forms give the legs a pronounced Neo-Renaissance / historicizing character.
The four pieces originally belong together and show small differences that suit artisanal fabrication. The wood has a beautiful warm brown color, clear grain pattern and an attractive natural patina.
