Offered is an exceptionally beautiful Yamaha CR-2020 from Yamaha’s absolute top period in the late seventies. This unit is in like-new condition both technically and visually and has been refurbished. The receiver has been mechanically checked and functions as it should. Illumination, meters, tuner, controls and amplifier operate correctly.

This NM-condition CR-2020 belongs to the large Yamaha Natural Sound receivers from this period and delivers 2 × 100 watts continuous at 8 ohms over 20 Hz–20 kHz. Behind the relatively understated Yamaha design lies a very heavy amplifier with an extensive preamplifier, high-quality tuner and three large analog meters.

What is special is the extensive phono section. There are two phono inputs and Phono 1 supports both MM and MC cartridges. In addition, the CR-2020 features AUX, multiple tape connections, pre-out/main-in, three separate speaker groups, variable loudness, bass-, presence- and treble controls, adjustable turnover frequencies and separate low- and high-filters.
