AI-assisted summary

Description from the seller

Natural Kunzite Terminated Crystal – Konar Mines, Afghanistan – 157 g

A beautiful natural Kunzite crystal from the Konar Mines of Afghanistan, weighing 157 grams and measuring approximately 59 × 43 × 35 mm.

This specimen features a very attractive natural crystal termination, with an unusual stepped and sculptural appearance. The termination has a remarkably clean, polished-looking surface, almost as if it had been cut and polished by a lapidary, but the termination is completely natural.

The crystal shows good transparency toward the upper portion, while the central to lower part becomes opaque to translucent, giving the specimen an interesting change in appearance throughout the crystal. Natural internal features and vertical growth lines are visible within the crystal, adding to its character and confirming its natural crystal growth.

Important: The Kunzite itself is natural, but the green colour has been produced by irradiation. This treatment is disclosed for transparency. The crystal has not been cut or artificially polished; its distinctive termination and crystal form are natural.

With its substantial size, attractive crystal form and unusual termination, this is an excellent collector's crystal for display and mineral collections.
