Inkwell from the late Napoleonic III period up to 1900. In patinated régule with a Renaissance-inspired style, depicting a knight's head dating to 1550. Perhaps Henry II who died after a joust? The helm of the armor lifts to reveal the transparent glass inkwell. In good condition, no breaks, cracks, chips, losses or any unsightly scratches. No marks or signatures apparent on this antique object. Height approximately 15 cm. Glass insert 4 cm tall. Base about 10 cm in diameter. Total weight almost 1.1 kg.

Encrier d'époque fin Napoléon III jusque 1900. En régule patiné de style Renaissance revisité, représentant une tête de chevalier d'époque 1550. Peut-être Henri II qui décéda après une joute ? Le heaume de l'armure se soulève pour laisser apparaitre l'encrier en verre transparent.  En état correct, pas de casse, fêle, choc, manque ou rayures intempestifs. Aucune marque ni signature apparente sur cet objet ancien. Hauteur environ 15cm. Godet en verre de 4cm de hauteur. Base d'environ 10cm de diamètre. Poids total presque 1,1 kg
