Fine collection of 17 antique stereoscopic photographs on glass in 6 x 13 cm format, preserved with their original Gaumont binder.

The series is dated mainly from 1925 to 1927 and brings together several geographically identifiable groups thanks to handwritten captions placed directly on the glass plates.

Among them are several views of Lyons-la-Forêt and the Lyons forest in 1927, with the Cordeliers and the Fleury castle. Some views show the buildings, gardens and surroundings of these properties.

The series also includes Caen in 1927, notably the apse of Saint-Pierre Church as well as Saint-Etienne Church, former Abbaye aux Hommes. Another view represents the courtyard of the former Hôtel d’Escoville.

Several photographs are devoted to the Rambouillet forest and the Étangs de Hollande, photographed in 1925.

Finally, a beautiful set concerns the Maintenon castle during the summer of 1925: façade facing the entrance, park side, ceremonial courtyard, grand canal and aqueduct, as well as a close-up view of the aqueduct.
