According to Philips, the S5X and S3X wireless speakers offer complete freedom with four different connection options, including wireless hi-fi streaming via Bluetooth (aptX and AAC), digital inputs (coaxial and optical), and a stereo input. The top-mounted 15mm silk-dome tweeter is designed to deliver clear hi-fi sound, while the volume and source selection controls are positioned on the side for easy adjustment and switching between audio sources. Treble and bass controls are located on the rear. A USB port allows for the fast charging of smartphones or tablets, and an included remote control enables the speakers to be operated from the comfort of your sofa.
The S5X features an output of 100 watts (RMS) and a 5.25-inch woofer. The two speakers are available in all-black or in a white design with a black finish.
