Large antique cast brass altar candlestick with macarons and claw feet. 46 cm high, 2.1 kg. France, 1880. French Neo-Baroque style late 19th century. Solid heavy cast brass. Rich symmetric details. The three-sided base rests on sturdy claw feet decorated on an identically cast macarons (classic face mask) in relief. The shaft is elegantly twisted and fitted with decorative knobs. At the top there is a broad holder with the original authentic pin. In excellent condition with a warm character.

Grote antieke gegoten messing altaar kandelaar met macarons en klauwpoten. 46 CM hoog ,2.1 kg Frankrijk van 1880. 
Franse neo barok stijl late 19e eeuw. Massief zwaar gegoten messing. Rijke symmetrische details. De driezijdige voet rust op robuuste klauwpoten gedecoreerd op een identiek gegoten macarons ( klassieke gezichtsmasker) in reliëf. De schacht is elegant gedraaid en voorzien van decoratieve knopen. Aan de bovenzijde bevindt zich een brede vervanger met de originele authentieke pen. Verkeert in prima staat met een warm karakter.
