Rare bottle of Vieil Armagnac from the 1900 vintage by Veuve J. Goudoulin, Courrensan, France, 70 cl, 40% vol.
The Armagnac dates from the year 1900; the exact bottling year is not specified on the bottle. The label designates the Armagnac as specially selected and bottled for Joachim Rött.
As importer, Segnitz-Import, Bremen, is listed.
Veuve Goudoulin was founded in 1935 by Jeanne Menal Goudoulin and is especially known for the storage and marketing of very old vintage Armagnacs. Comparable 1900 Goudoulin bottles are documented at international auctions and in specialist trade.
The bottle is in remarkably good overall condition for its age. The original seal is present, though slightly cracked at one point. The label shows age-related signs of wear characteristic of a bottle over 100 years old.
