Altar palm - 77 cm - Copper - 1800-1850

Copper palm frond from about the mid-1800s. Used for solemn religious ceremonies, it was slipped into palm holders as a ceremonial decoration. Entirely handmade using the repoussé technique with a wrought-iron back support and a pointed tip, featuring floral motifs and a patina of age, with dimensions of 77 x 35 x 5 cm.
