A lavabo was used for ritual hand-washing in the Catholic Church or to wash hands before an important meal.
The lavabo hung on a chain and could be tilted, causing the (holy) water to come out of one of the two spouts.
The item is in very fine condition with only light signs of aging.
Includes a chain for hanging.
