This expressive set of three polished chrysoprase freeforms shows a particularly varied palette of greens. From light apple and pistachio green to rich grass green, a lively play of color emerges, further accented by cream-white, brownish, and rust-colored mineral markings.

The three pieces each have a distinctly own character. The large left freeform appears comparatively calm and homogeneous with its finely speckled, light-green pattern. Numerous small color nuances blend into one another, giving the surface a moss-like texture.

The middle freeform shows considerably stronger contrasts. Intensive green areas alternate with lighter, slightly translucent sections, while dark mineral inclusions and rust-brown accents run through the material. This creates a multi-layered, almost landscape-like pattern.

The right freeform is especially lively. Here, saturated, bright greens meet striking ocher to rust-brown veins and inclusions that curl through the stone in sweeping patterns. The high-quality polish beautifully showcases both the color intensity and the fine structures, imparting a pleasant optical depth to all three pieces.

Chrysoprase belongs to the chalcedony group and owes its characteristic green color to nickel-containing mineral components.
