Massive silver sugar box – Egypt – Apple shape – Vintage

Beautiful little decorative vintage sugar box in solid silver, of Egyptian manufacture, made in the shape of an apple.

The box consists of two parts and opens halfway up thanks to its removable lid. It is topped with its tail also made of silver.

The piece is stamped in several places, notably under the apple, on the lid as well as on the tail.

Egyptian manufacture dating probably from the 1950s-1970s.

The lid fits and closes properly. The piece is in good overall condition, with no breakage or damage. Some micro-scratches, signs of use and patina are present, in keeping with its age.
