Beautiful and very complete collection of Dutch comic-related stamp issues and albums around the turn of the millennium (1999-2000), issued by PTT Post. Ideal for the fan of both comics and philately.

Contents of the lot:

-Sjors & Sjimmie (2000): 2x "The Collectors Album" (PTT Post / Big Balloon). Published in September 2000 on the occasion of the special issue of the Sjors & Sjimmie stamps by PTT Post. Including the accompanying mint stamp sheets (10x 80c). Completely complete including the 8 original postcards (images by Frans Piët).
Two First Day Envelopes (FDC), NVPH no. 423: Equipped with the official first-day stamps (23 September 2000). 2 Big Balloon first-day envelopes 2000-07.
2 stamp wallets no. 233: PTT Post issue featuring the thematic stamp block.
2 stamp booklets: Including "Five of Sjors & Sjimmie" (PB62) and the "Ten of Sjors & Sjimmie" packaging.
Mint stamp sheet: Beautifully preserved stamps, including the comic strip block (NVPH 1919-1920).

-Tintin (1999): Men on the Moon. Including 2x the luxury blue "Millennium Change 1999-2000" collector’s folder. Contains the four iconic envelopes with historic postmarks: Hattem (31-12-1999) and Urmond (1-1-2000). Also including the Casterman comic album, 5 mint stamp blocks 1839, 1 cancelled stamp block, 1 stamp booklet no. 59. Also a Telebrief no. 33 and Ecubrief with Tintin coin no. 39: Commemorative items.

-Jan, Jans en de kinderen (1998): Album no. 25 (Libelle edition) including the special Red Cat first-day envelope NVPH No. 393 and 1 stamp blocks PB 51 and 4 stamp blocks with 2 stamps no. 1782.

Condition: Everything is in excellent, nearly new condition (the stamps are mostly mint, albums unmarked).
