Three wall sconces with mirror and glass drops.
Probably made in Murano around 1960, with transparent glass and rich decorations with glass drops of various shapes: a beautiful example of craftsmanship of the era.
They come from the bedroom of an apartment in Venice now under restoration.
Each sconce consists of an arm with a cup facing upward; the mirror is framed by glass bars and small roses to conceal the joints.
The base is in gilded metal.

I mainly collect Murano chandeliers thanks to the collaboration with some companies that restore apartments and palaces in Venice. In this way, over time, I have recovered the chandeliers of elegant and often ancient houses in the lagoon and in the nearby areas.
Murano glass has an incomparable charm: every piece, even the simplest, has a story hidden in its fragility and its iridescent light.
