Antique English oak armchair – Edwardian – circa 1910
Beautiful antique English armchair, presumably from England and made around 1900–1920, during the Edwardian period. The design shows strong similarities with English oak office chairs from around 1910.
The chair features a nicely curved backrest with fan-shaped wooden spindles, elegant armrests and gracefully curved legs connected by turned wooden crossbars.
The dark brown leather seat is finished with decorative metal tack nails. The warm oak wood has a beautiful patina and authentic signs of wear that emphasize its antique character.
