Artistic concept and cultural study:
the coating is the result of a thorough study of postwar and mid-20th century European avant-garde movements. The work pays homage to iconic movements such as Dadaism or Dada Neu, which represented a rejection of traditional schemes and visual reworking; Fluxus: the indivisible union of art, daily life, and everyday objects; Abstract Expressionism and German art of the 1950s: visible in the graphic details, in the overall color scheme, and in the complex iconographic elements (such as uprooted palaces, vintage televisions with roots, and visual references to German art of the period).
Restoration and artisanal workmanship details: entirely handmade in the historic Florentine artisanal context.
Technique and materials: high-precision sartorial application finished with restoration scalpels, integrating the graphics perfectly with the curves and the folding panel of the camera.
