Original tin can from 1938, manufactured by the company “Etabl. J. Schuybroek S.A.” from Hoboken near Antwerp, officially licensed by Walt Disney – Mickey Mouse S.A.

“Etabl. J. Schuybroek S.A.” produced in the 1930s very rare tin cans featuring motifs from the Disney film “Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.” The cans were used, among other things, for cookies from manufacturers such as “De Beukelaer.”

The design consists of a multicolor lithography with the most important scenes and characters from the Disney Snow White film: Snow White, all 7 dwarfs as individual characters (Sleepy, Bashful, Dopey, Sneezy, Doc, Happy, Grumpy), the Evil Queen, and the animals of the forest.

Many of these cans have an antique lock and a key. The offered can has the lock still present, but the key is missing.

This tin shows slight age-related wear.
