Handle of a Roman bronze instrument representing Eros riding a dolphin.
Roman Empire, ca. 1st–3rd centuries CE
The surface preserves an archaeological dark green and brown patina, with areas of oxidation, concretions, and surface wear.
Material: bronze / copper alloy.
Chronology proposed: Roman era, 1st–3rd centuries CE.
Measurements: 37 × 50 × 22 mm.
Condition: good for its age; wear and surface corrosion, with the figurative composition and the assembly cavity remaining legible. probably 1st–3rd centuries CE.
