We present a precious Beijing-made Chinese rug from the period between 1970 and 1980.

Its elegant composition combines a powdery green background with a wide ivory border featuring ornamental motifs. In the center, a refined floral medallion stands out, bringing balance and character to the whole. It is woven in wool on cotton using the manual tufting technique. The pile is fixed to the back with a special compound and is protected by a textile lining, which preserves its function and stability perfectly.
The rug is in very good condition, with practically minimal use.
