For sale is this egg-shaped box by Christofle from Paris, France. Model: Rubans

I’m not sure what the egg is used for.

I would rate the condition as very good. There are 2-3 small dents, but they are hardly visible. I have not polished the small box or done anything else; I merely wiped it with a damp cloth.
