Zevi, Bruno - Apprendre a voir l'architecture - 1959

The French hardcover edition of the famous book by Bruno Zevi, in the series 'Les Cahiers Forces Vives', translation in French by Lucien Trichaud, 150 textpp incl 15 bl/w fullpage hors texte photographs and 34 drawings in the text, & a 32 pp large 'Index Photographie' containing 133 photographs printed in light 'purple' colour, smaller imperfections to the edges of dustwrapper.

The first edition of Knowing How to See Architecture by Bruno Zevi was published in 1948 by the Italian publishing house Giulio Einaudi Editore in Turin. The designer responsible for the dustwrapper and the overall page layout of the 1959 French edition of Knowing How to See Architecture (published in the Les Cahiers Forces Vives collection by Les Éditions de Minuit) was Jean Petit.
