French 5 francs silver coin from 1844 of Louis-Philippe I, minted at Lille (workshop W), 900‰ silver, about 25 g in weight and 37 mm in diameter, circulated with an old patina and signs of wear.

5 Francs Louis-Philippe I – 1844 W – Lille
French silver 5 franc coin, minted in 1844 under the July Monarchy, featuring the effigy of King Louis-Philippe I.
Obverse: portrait of Louis-Philippe I turned to the right, wearing a crown of oak leaves. Legend “LOUIS PHILIPPE I ROI DES FRANÇAIS”. Engraver's initial DOMARD F. beneath the portrait.
Reverse: value 5 FRANCS and year 1844, surrounded by a crown of laurel and olive branches tied at their base.
Mint: Lille (W).
