French 5-franc silver coin, minted in 1841 under the July Monarchy, featuring King Louis-Philippe I.
Avers: portrait of Louis-Philippe I facing right, wearing a crown of oak leaves. Legend “LOUIS PHILIPPE I ROI DES FRANÇAIS”. Engraver’s signature DOMARD F. beneath the portrait.
Revers: denomination 5 FRANCS and year 1841, surrounded by a wreath of laurel and olive branches tied at their base.
Mint: B – Rouen.
