French silver 5 franc coin, minted in 1834 under the July Monarchy, bearing the effigy of King Louis-Philippe I.
Obverse: portrait of Louis-Philippe I facing right, crowned with an oak leaf crown. Legend “LOUIS PHILIPPE I ROI DES FRANÇAIS”. Engraver’s signature DOMARD F. under the portrait.
Reverse: value 5 FRANCS and the year 1834, surrounded by a wreath of laurel and olive branches tied at their base.
Mint: Paris.
