French silver 5 franc coin, struck in 1841 under the July Monarchy, featuring King Louis-Philippe I.
Obverse: portrait of Louis-Philippe I facing right, wearing a crown of oak leaves. Legend “LOUIS PHILIPPE I ROI DES FRANÇAIS”. Signature of the engraver DOMARD F. under the portrait.
Reverse: value 5 FRANCS and year 1841, surrounded by a wreath of laurel and olive branches tied at their base.
Mint: W – Lille.
