Sculpture, Angelo - 35 cm - Gilt wood

Musician angel sculpture carved from solid wood, hand-carved and sculpted.
The sculpture is dateable to the 19th century (1800s). The quality and workmanship are extremely high.
The angel's loincloth and wings are in gold leaf. The flesh has undergone a more recent repaint.
On the back there is a hook for anchoring.
The trumpet is missing.
