Natural Color-Change Sapphire – 1.96 ct
A special and characterful natural sapphire with a striking color-change effect. This oval-cut sapphire weighs 1.96 carats and measures 8.30 × 6.20 × 4.28 mm.
According to the accompanying ALGT Colored Stone Identification Report no. 42928748, dated 10 March 2025, it is a Natural Corundum – Color-Change Sapphire. The stone is transparent and in the report described as Light Greenish Blue/Pink. The remarkable optical effect is the color-change, causing the stone to present a different appearance under different lighting conditions.
The sapphire is set in an oval mixed cut, which with its many facets provides beautiful reflections and brilliance. The natural inclusions present also give the stone a unique and authentic character.
